T20 cricket is difficult to predict because time is scarce and individual events carry unusual weight.

No single statistic captures all of this.

Useful analysis combines runs, wickets, balls remaining, batting depth, bowling resources, and match conditions. More importantly, it updates those factors as the game changes.

That is what makes T20 so compelling to analyse. The format does not remove patterns or make statistics useless. It simply gives analysts less time for those patterns to settle.

A forecast can describe the most likely outcome at one moment. The next over may supply enough new information to change it.

In T20 cricket, uncertainty is part of the structure of the game. Understanding that uncertainty leads to better analysis than treating an early advantage as a final result.
